Harmony through Harmony (HtH) is a new vocal ensemble that began in October 2009. Through music and the arts, HtH seeks to expand worldviews, develop leaders, and fight for justice. This is truly a unique group of local musicians with global hearts.
Each week HtH meets to share meals, discuss current events and sing together as they explore and express their thoughts, beliefs and values. Its repertoire and weekly discussion curriculum are specifically chosen to promote and inspire social justice for the oppressed. HtH aims to build communities of activists that perform to inspire, educate and serve others.
Whether performing for churches, the under-privileged or fundraisers for not-for-profit organizations, HtH shares a message of hope with its audiences. In its first year the group has helped to raise over $55 000 for organizations including Not for Sale, Samaritan's Purse, and Homeless Awareness Calgary.
HtH invites you to enjoy the beautiful arrangements, open your hearts to the lyrics and join them in their quest to be voices for the voiceless.
